About me

Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.

My journey

My journey towards being a mind-body, sexual wellness and embodiment therapist has certainly been colourful. I originally trained as a corporate psychologist and have over 10 years industry experience working with organisations to understand how people think and behave and to develop products, services and communications that align with real people (not the robots they sometimes treat people as). My work as a behavioural scientist enabled me to develop many psychological skills that underpin the therapeutic services that I currently provide. Sexual health and body wellness has been an enduring passion of mine throughout my psychological career.

Holistic approach to mind-body healing

I have training across both the medical sphere (i.e. psychology), as well as alternative health disciplines (such as clinical aromatherapy, somatic sexology, mind-body therapy, and vibrational medicine). This enables me to take the best of both worlds and provide my clients with a composite approach that combines psychological therapeutic approaches with natural medicine to treat body, mind and spirit as a whole, rather than as individual parts.

Non-judgemental and diversity advocate

I’m non-judgemental and welcoming of people from all walks of life, relationship status, relationship style (monogamous, polyamorous, non-monogamous), religion, ethnicity, sexuality and gender identity. I’m also experienced with people who are neurodiverse. As a sexuality- and neurodiverse individual myself, I understand many of the stressors and difficulties some of my clients face, which better equips me to provide a high standard of clinical care.

My qualifications

I have numerous qualifications that enable me to provide a comprehensive and holistic wellness service to my clients.

  • General registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PSY0001634081)*

  • Master in Organisational Psychology, University of Queensland (2011)

  • Bachelor of Arts, Honours Psychology, University of Queensland (2008)

  • Certificate in Embodiment Counselling, Institute of Somatic Sexology (2021)

  • Certificate in Clinical Aromatherapy, Australian College of Aromatherapy (2024)

I also have numerous other qualifications in traditional medicine and alternative therapies which complement the work that I do, which I completed whilst I was finishing my psychology training.

* I am currently completing a re-entry to practice program to re-register as a psychologist. Refer Psychology Board of Australia for conditions on my registration.
